On behalf of the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society (ACNS), we invite you to participate in the 2013 Fall Courses, September 28-29, 2013 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia Center City.
The educational mission of ACNS is to foster excellence in clinical neurophysiology and further the understanding of central and peripheral nervous system function in health and disease through education, research, and the provision of a forum for discussion and interaction.
Thus, the goal of the ACNS Course Committee is to develop educational courses that not only interest the ACNS members and non-members, but help them grow professionally.
We are pleased to, once again, present two-day, parallel courses this fall. The Intensive Care Unit EEG Monitoring (ICU EEG) course will be chaired by Nicholas Abend, MD and Saurabh Sinha, MD, PhD. Aatif M. Husain, MDand Marc R. Nuwer, MD, PhD will lead the Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (NIOM) course.
Both courses have been created related to new and rapidly-evolving areas of clinical neurophysiology. Few practicing neurologists have adequate training in these techniques, and physicians with competence in these areas are in great demand. Educational activities will cover both basic methodologies for those practitioners new to ICU EEG and NIOM, and innovative techniques.
Please join us in Philadelphia. We look forward to seeing you there!
William O. Tatum, DO & Tobias Loddenkemper, MD
