2015 Fall Courses

The American Clinical Neurophysiology Society (ACNS) 2015 Fall Courses were held on September 26 & 27, 2015 at the Westin Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina. 130 delegates were in attendance.

These comprehensive courses provide practical clinical and up-to-date research information on these rapidly-evolving areas in clinical neurophysiology. Highlights include panel discussions on program development, sessions on billing and coding, and discussion of new technical and clinical guidelines.

Once again, parallel two-day courses on new and rapidly-evolving areas of clinical neurophysiology; Intensive Care Unit EEG (ICU EEG) monitoring, co-directed by Nicholas S. Abend, MD, FACNS & Saurabh R. Sinha, MD, PhD, FACNS and Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (NIOM) co-directed by Gloria Galloway, MD, FACNS and Marc R. Nuwer, MD, PhD, FACNS.

The two morning courses; Epilepsy Surgery Update, co-directed by Stephan U. Schuele, MD, MPH, FACNS & William O. Tatum, IV, DO, FACNS and Pediatric EEG Update, co-directed by William B. Gallentine, DO, FACNS & Gautam Popli, MD provided delegates with new information in these fields. 

Tobias Loddenkemper, MD, FACNS and Saurabh R. Sinha, MD, PhD, FACNS, the Course Committee co-chair’s extraordinary dedication and support to the Fall Courses has brought growing success to this year’s program, working tirelessly with the Course Directors and speakers to provide a leading education program to attendees.
