Credit Designation
A maximum number of 5.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to:

1. Analyze the components of nerve conduction studies and interpret abnormalities;
2. Identify different types of spontaneous activity on needle EMG and differentiate neurogenic versus myopathic motor unit potential changes;
3. Design a systematic electrodiagnostic protocol to localize common mononeuropathies;
4. Apply electrodiagnostic criteria to distinguish primary demyelinating neuropathy from axonal neuropathy;
5. Formulate a targeted needle EMG exam to evaluate radiculopathies; and
6. Recognize the electrodiagnostic patterns of neuromuscular junction disorders using repetitive nerve stimulation.
