ACNS Announces New Service Award, Requests Nominations

The ACNS Awards Committee, chaired by Tobi Loddenkemper, MD, FACNS, has announced the creation of an ACNS Service Award, which will be presented for the first time at the 2020 Annual Meeting, February 5-9, 2020 in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.

The award recognizes outstanding service by an ACNS member or (affiliated) professional in the field of clinical neurophysiology, including non-scientific contributions, emphasizing accomplishments and contributions that benefit the ACNS and its members. Contributions may include but are not limited to organization, advocacy, education, and committee work, among others.

The Awards Committee is now accepting nominations for the inaugural award as well as suggestions for the name of the award. Historically, ACNS awards have been named after the first recipient of the award and the current Awards Committee will seek to both select a recipient and name the award, based on nominations from ACNS members.

To nominate an individual for the inaugural ACNS Service Award, visit the Members-Only section of the ACNS website and use the Award Nomination Form at the bottom of the page.

The deadline to submit nominations is Tuesday, September 3, 2019.
