PedQuest Consortium

PedQuEST consists of an international group of clinician scientists dedicated to promoting qEEG research, education, and implementation by building the infrastructure to support multicenter collaboration. PedQuEST was initiated in 2021 and includes physicians and scientists from 24 institutions in three countries. Key to goals of the group is the development of a centralized critical care EEG database that allows reliable, safe data management. The PedQuEST database will be the largest multicenter pediatric critical care EEG repository, with the overarching mission of advancing brain-directed care of critically ill children using qEEG. Through this group multiple research projects are under development including two that are already underway involving post-cardiac arrest and New-Onset Refractory Status Epilepticus (NORSE).
