Institutional Training Package

The ACNS Institutional Training Package (ITP) is designed to provide training programs (including CNP, Epilepsy and Neuromuscular Medicine fellowships and Neurology and Child Neurology residencies) with convenient and cost-effective access to essential educational content for their program’s trainees.

The ITP is built around CNP Bootcamp, a seven-week, online program designed to expose new fellows to the core aspects of CNP in the first weeks of their training. CNP Bootcamp can also be a thorough introduction to CNP for residents.

CNP Bootcamp encompasses more than 30 total hours of both on-demand instruction and live, interactive content. This includes a comprehensive set of recorded lectures, weekly live discussion sections, additional resources, and recommended reading. New this year, the program will culminate with an online game to consolidate the information that the residents and fellows learned.

In addition to CNP Bootcamp, the ITP also includes:

• Complimentary ACNS Junior Membership for eligible* trainee participants for one full membership year (June – May), including:
  • Discounted registration for the 2024 In-Service Examination in Clinical Neurophysiology;
  • A print/online subscription to the Journal of Clinical Neurophysiology, the official journal of ACNS;
  • Participation in the Special Interest Group (SIG) program, including even more interactive education throughout the year, such as case-based discussions, journal clubs, broad literature resources, and director-led interactive studies;
  • Access to the Featured Case archive, including dozens of cases on various CNP topics;
  • Eligibility for the ACNS Professional Development Mentor Program, designed to connect early-career professionals with some of the best clinical neurophysiologists in the world;
  • Eligibility for Young Investigator Travel Awards, providing financial support toward travel to the ACNS Annual Meeting & Courses; and more!
• 50% off registration for the Principles of Clinical Neurophysiology (formerly the Fall Courses) for trainees; and
• 50% of registration for the ACNS Annual Meeting & Courses for trainees AND the Program Director!

To participate in the ITP, register your program for CNP Bootcamp, starting June 5! Program Directors must select the Program registration type and trainees must enroll using the program coupon codes emailed to Program Directors in order to be eligible for the ITP.

Program registration for CNP Bootcamp includes enrollment for the Program Director and three (3) trainees, with the option to add additional trainees for a nominal fee. Program Directors who are ACNS members are eligible for discounted program registration rates.

Bootcamp and ITP registration is open June 5 – August 14, 2023.

*Trainee participants must meet all qualifications for Junior Membership to participate in the Institutional Training Package.
